Crowds of people gathered in downtown Los Angeles Sunday afternoon for a chance to see and hear the Prime Minister of Armenia.
Nikol Pashinyan spoke at Grand Park in his first ever appearance in the city, which is home to the largest Armenian community outside Armenia itself, according to a press release from L.A. Councilmember Paul Krekorian’s office.
All Armenian organizations, Armenian Consul General, and the city of Los Angeles united prepared a very successful event and made Pashinyan visit a success,
Pashinyan had very busy Sunday, first Meeting in Private seating with the Armenian community leaders, then Press conference at Century city, then from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM Public Meeting at Los Angeles Grand Park, followed with Gala Dinner at 7 PM
Several public service officials were in attendance, including Mayor Eric Garcetti and Rep. Adam Schiff

Sorry to see that out of 200,000 Armenians, only 10,000 showed up at LA to great our president. Not excusable, since the occasion was on Sunday and 95% are usually home. This means that only one out of 20 people expanded an effort to show respect. I am sure that at least 50% of Armenians would show up, if Kabab & Vodka was served. Mr. Pashinyan should cry tonight! It’s a sad state of Armenians in USA.

where would you put 200,000 people? the park was pack as long as your eyes can see, one thing is to march another is to stand on your feet for 4 hours under the burning sun… thank you for your comment…
