Yerevan: FACT 11 years ago on this day March 1st, 2008, Ex-President Levon Ter Petrosyan and MP Nikol Pashinyan launch a massive violent protest against the Government by Burning Cars and lotting shops consequently two policemen and eight civilians lost their life, Ex-President Robert Kocharyan one term Karabakh president and two Term President of Armenia is in prison without court trial and against Armenian constitution. and the instigator of the protest Levon Ter Petrosyan is freely roaming street of Yerevan.
Robert Kocharyan was the outgoing president at the time.
Incumbent PM Nikol Pashinyan was a senior member of Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s political party at the time and was coordinating the protests.
It is never easy to go against the popular Prim minister but someone has to stick his neck out and tell the truth, we say Armenia need Political Peace NOT Political Prisoners. Free Kocharyan and forgot and forgave close the books go forward. revenge and vendetta is not the solution.

The March 1 events colloquially refer to the 2008 post-election unrest in Yerevan, when clashes between security forces and protesters left 10 people, including two security officers dead. The unrest spanned from late February until late March. The events are known simply as March First
The protests were led by First President of Armenia Levon-Ter Petrosyan, who according to official results of the election lost to Serzh Sargsyan. Ter-Petrosyan’s supporters believed the election was rigged.
