Representative Paul Ryan was officially elected President of the House after getting 236 votes of members of the House of Representatives.

The vote proved a formality after House Republicans have nominated Wednesday for the position.

Paul Ryan is a strong supporter of Armenia, including the recognition of the Armenian Genocide by the United States and the safety of the people of Nagorno Karabakh.
