Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with his French counterpart Laurent Fabius on March 13 as part of his working visit to Paris, Armenian Foreign Ministry’s press service reported.
The top diplomats of Armenia and France discussed the preparations for French President François Hollande’s visit to Armenia in May.
The two sides discussed the bilateral relations, Armenia-EU relations as well as international and regional problems, in particular the Ukraine crisis.
Speaking about the Karabakh conflict, Edward Nalbandian hailed the constructive involvement of France and the other Co-Chair countries, Russia and the United States. He stressed the need of joint efforts aimed at exclusively peaceful settlement of the conflict and reaffirmed Armenia’s willingness to continue working with the Co-Chair countries in order to achieve a resolution to the conflict.
