The European Parliament’s March 11 resolution on the Syrian conflict confirms that Turkey has sent Syrian mercenaries to fight in the war against Artsakh unleashed by Azerbaijan on September 27, 2020. ARMENPRESS reports there are two mentionings about that in the resolution. The first one says, ”According to the Co-chair countries of OSCE Minsk Group, Turkey transported Syrian mercenaries to Nagorno Karabakh”.
The second point emphasizes that the European Parliament condemns those activities of Turkey. ”The European Parliament strictly condemns using Syrian mercenaries in the conflicts of Libya and Nagorno Karabakh. That’s a violation of international law”.
I enjoyed reading David Boyajian’s article. I wish more Armenian media would publish his well-researched and clearly enunciated articles. Unfortunately, too many Armenian media outlets are owned by organizations and follow the party line.
So, some European states are condemning Turkey. Whoopee. What of it? The hedonistic Europeans are too tumerous to defend the lands their forefathers shed blood on for centuries. While the Turkish wolf has returned, hedonistic Europeans gambole at Antalya resorts unheeding that the Turkish “hospitality” smiles hide grimaces as the Grey Wolf prepare to bite Europe just as it bit Syria, Iraq, Libya, and Armenia..
Azerbaijan is a signatory to the UN Convention against the use of mercenaries. That’s an important fact.
Therefore, Azerbaijan is guilty and must be prosecuted by the UN.
Georgia is a signatory to the same UN Convention.
Georgia knowingly allowed the mercenaries to be flown across its airspace and so is also guilty and must be prosecuted.
Please see the GAGRULE article below that explains the facts and legalities.
