What is the Armenian identity in France? This is the theme of the round table and debate organized by the cultural association Arménia Friday, May 16th at 20:30 at the MJC Jean Moulin de Bourg-Les-Valence (20 avenue Jean Moulin). Free admission.
After the topic of a debate on the Armenian language, Arménia addresses a broader issue: what are the elements that can confirm or define the Armenian identity in France? Language, culture, alphabet, cooking, folklore, a souvenir photo, commitment to the community, a state of mind, relationships with institutions and associations in the community or a link with the Armenia? Among the elements that can freeze other Armenian identity in France. The theme will be discussed in roundtable dozens of participants.
