“Germany was Turkey’s ally in the World War I. The German officers served in the Ottoman military police; [German] diplomats and political functionaries travelled throughout the country. Some of them observed the deportations, while others took part in them. Still others wrote home, urging Germany to interfere.

Hello everyone. As far as I know, Germany does take partial responsibility in its role in the Armenian Genocide. I was in Berlin on 24th April 2015. There was a huge mass taking part in the demonstration. We need to officially ask the German Government , germand historians, academics, ploitical scientists “what role did Germany play during WWI during the Armenian genocide”? let us see what they say? Let us just organize a one giant symposium with one question to ask in Berlin. In 2015.
