Vedat Türkali, one of the most famous figures in modern Turkish literature disappeared Aug. 29 in a hospital in the town of Yalova (Turkey) at the age of 97. Vedat Türkali was also the author of the book (novel, 2014) “Bitti Bitti Bitmedi” (It’s over, it’s over, but it’s not finished, “widely citing the Armenian genocide. Of course the book created a scandal in Turkey while experiencing a very wide distribution.
