The Vatican has released colorful stamp series celebrating Pope’s trips in 2016, among them visits to Mexico, Poland, Greece, Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Sweden.
The stamp dedicated to Armenia shows Pope against the background of Tsitsernakaberd – the memorial complex honoring the victims of the Armenian Genocide. The official website of the Vatican noted that the author of the stamp is Daniela Longo.

yes stamp from the Vatican. i have a question where was Vatican when our fathers were being murdered? in late 1895-96 while Armenians were dyeing in Adana massacre, the then pope said to them, if you become Catholics nothing will happen to you, in other words YOU VATICAN had the power to stop the genocide and you did nothing to stop them, this people are reprehensible
fore their bad deeds YOU VATICAN you coming now after 100 years and telling us it was genocide? and now you kidding us withe a stamp? sorry i get emotional on this issues. anyway hope you all are ok cheers. Alexan Semerdjian

I understand your sentiments, however I hope you understand that the present Pope is the best the Catholics have ever had, a very kind, generous and knowledgeable man, who is the only sensible leader in today’s dangerous world. He obviously loves the Armenians.
Merry Christmas, Peace & Love !
