YEREVAN (Armenpress)—The United States of America will be officially represented on the centenary of the Armenian Genocide in Yerevan at the Dzidzernagapert Memorial with members of a delegation who will be appointed by the U.S. President Barack Obama, the American Ambassador to Armenia Richard Mills announced Monday.
“Along with Armenia, the United States mourn the victims of the massacres and deportation of about 1.5 million Armenians during the last years of the Ottoman Empire,” Ambassador Mills said in a statement. “We should never forget this tragedy and should keep bright the memory of those, who gave their lives.”

Our president B. Obama must go for the April 24, 2015 100th anniversary of the Armenian GENOCIDE.
Before he was elected as president, he promised many times to recognize the Armenian Genocide. He did not deliver his promise after his election. But one year later on April 24, President B. Obama went to Turkey. President W. Wilson recognized the Armenian Genocide 100 years ago. USA ambassador to Turkey Mr. Morganthau alerted the world that genocide is carried out by the Ottoman Turkish government. Very sad that our president is not a man of his words.
