The Hayastan All-Armenian Fund’s 19th annual Telethon launches on November 24. Funds raised at the worldwide telethon “My Artsakh” will be allocated to initiatives for rebuilding war-ravaged communities in Artsakh, various measures to ensure the safety and security of the peaceful population of the republic, and the construction of homes for Artsakh large families. Parallel to this, special projects will continue in Armenia and Artsakh.
Telethon will be televised on November 24 from 10:00 pm -10:00 am Yerevan time. Airing live from Los Angeles, the Telethon will be broadcast on major local television networks – Public TV, Armenia, Shant, and Yerkir Media, as well as through internet www.himnadram.org.
The year’s culminating fundraising event, the Telethon rallies worldwide Armenian support for a specific endeavor of pan-national significance. Through the 12-hour program Hayastan Fund presents reporting films on the completed and current projects of 2016, and concludes with the announcement of fundraising totals achieved through a variety of benefit events carried out by the fund’s affiliates throughout the year.
