The situation along the Line of Contact between Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) and Azerbaijan is absolutely normal, with no maneuvers being observed on the part of the adversary, according to Major-General Karen Abrahamyan, a commander of the Defense Army.
“The situation along the border is normal, relatively stable thanks to our army and the vigilant service. Compared to the previous months, there were escalations and ceasefire breaches, but we now have a peaceful border owing to the full-fledged military vigil as part of our
measures, ” he told reporters at a public ceremony marking the 28th anniversary of the country’s independence.
Asked whether any “scandalous disclosures” and conspiracies are expected, the commander ruled out the possibility of such a scenario.
