Arsen Babayan, a former senior parliament staffer facing prosecution over charges of abusing authority, has been released from jail.
Speaking to Aysor.am shortly after the court hearing on Tuesday, the former deputy chief of the National Assembly’s staff said he now feels good “despite being “unlawfully kept in custody” for 22 days.
“I was unlawfully deprived of freedom for 22 days. I will go home now, we will talk later,” he said, when asked to share his evaluations of the entire criminal procedure.
