An Armenian female acrobat has been declared the winner of the world circus festival, Idol, ITAR-TASS reported.
Eliza Khachatryan, who representa the Moscow Circus on Tsvetnoy Boulevard. has won the title for ballet variations on rope.
“The professionals were arguing two hours, trying to prove who is right. As a result we awarded two golden medals, three silver medals and four bronzes,” Edgar Zapashnin, a people’s actor of Russia, said at the award ceremony.
The second medal was awarded to the Turkmenistan group, Galkynysh, which performed national horsemen tricks.
