President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on Thursday met with his French counterpart Francois Hollande on the margins of NATO summit in Wales.
The leaders hailed the level of Armenia-France political dialogue and mutually beneficial close cooperation in different areas.
The sides discussed a number of issues of mutual interest, including peaceful settlement of Karabakh conflict, the upcoming meeting planned between the presidents of France, Armenia and Azerbaijan on the initiative of the the French side. Serzh Sargsyan and Francois Hollande exchanged views on regional developments and existing challenges.
They also discussed implementation of the arrangements, cooperation within international agencies, mutual assistance on key issues.
Earlier Serzh Sargsyan participated in the meeting of the heads of state and government from NATO and ISAF partner nations.
