YEREVAN. – Miroslav Lajčák, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovakia, who is in Armenia on an official visit, paid a visit to the Armenian Genocide Memorial and laid a wreath in memory of the Genocide victims.
Lajčák also toured the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute and signed its guestbook.
To note, the Slovak Deputy PM and FM is in Armenia at the invitation of his colleague, Armenian FM Edward Nalbandian. On Tuesday, Lajčák attended a conference entitled “EU Foreign Policy in the South Caucasus.”
During his stay in Armenia, Miroslav Lajčák is scheduled to meet with President Serzh Sargsyan, National Assembly Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan, and Acting Premier Tigran Sargsyan.
Also, Nalbandian and Lajčák will conduct talks and hold a joint news conference.
