The heroic May victories are proof that in difficult times our nation is able to unite and save national dignity, Armenian ex-president Robert Kocharyan said in the congratulatory message on the occasion of the Republic Day.
“Sardarapat is a symbol of this unity,” he added.
Earlier in the morning, a wreath was placed at the Sardarapat memorial complex on behalf of Robert Kocharyan.
