Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan received an official delegation from the Australian New South Wales state.
A wide range of issues related to the development of relations between New South Wales and Artsakh were discussed during the meeting.
President Sahakyan expressed gratitude to the authorities and people of New South Wales for supporting Artsakh and de-facto recognizing its independence, adding that it was a significant political and moral step on the path of international recognition of Artsakh and establishment of bilateral relations.
Both sides noted that there are all necessary conditions for cooperation and resoluteness to work in this direction.
Deputy Speaker of the Artsakh Republic National Assembly Arthur Tovmasyan, NKR Permanent Representative in Australia Varouzhan Iskandaryan, members of the Armenian National Committee of Australia and other officials were also present at the meeting, reported the Central Information Department at the Artsakh President’s Office.
