STEPANAKERT. – Intense battles are underway in the northeastern and southeastern directions of the Line of Contact between the Karabakh and Azerbaijani opposing forces. In response to the large-scale shelling launched by the adversary in the early morning hours, the Defense Army subdivisions started retaliatory actions and regained the military post of military significance in the direction of Talish, which had been occupied by the Azerbaijani forces. The adversary was pushed back, suffering significant losses. Two Karabakh soldiers have been wounded during the military actions.
The operations of the Karabakh Armed Forces are also successful in the southern section of the Line of Contact. Resisting the attacks of rocket propelled howitzer and armored vehicles, the Defense Army subdivisions operating in the southern wing have annihilated two tanks and one infantry fighting vehicle (IFV).
Azerbaijan launched outright offensive military actions along the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces, from late Friday night through Saturday morning, and using a variety of weaponry as well as artillery, armored vehicles, and air force. A 12-year-old boy was killed, two other children were wounded. The Karabakh forces have reported about destroying two Azerbaijani helicopters, four tanks and two drones. As of yesterday, the Armenian side suffered 18 casualties, nearly 35 soldiers having been wounded.
Azerbaijani side suffered over 200 casualties.
