Armenians have been happily discussing this year’s Brazilian carnival, within the framework of which Armenian flag has been waived for about 65 minutes and the Armenian culture has been presented. It all began when the director of the Brazilian Rosas de Ouro group and the students of the school attended the birthday party of an Armenian. They were so much inspired by the joyful and cheerful celebration that they decided to study the Armenian history more closely and to reflect it in the framework of the 2019 Carnival.
“In the past, I was thinking that life was full of surprises, there was nothing casual in life. My life, as well as my decision to become a singer, has gone through good and difficult ways. When I received an invitation from the carnival organizers and my participation was officially confirmed, I was more inspired by the fact that I had the opportunity to travel through a car dedicated to Charles Aznour and Aram Khachatryan, and in almost all of my interviews I mentioned that my dream was to get acquainted with Aznavour, I did not have the opportunity to accomplish … It was exciting to see Armenian flag in Brazil. I was happy to be the witness and the part of that day,” Sibil noted.
