Armenia’s former deputy defense minister Artak Zakaryan believes some Iranian officials are more radical about the invisibility of Armenia’s Syunik province than the capitulant regime led by Nikol Pashinyan. Zakharyan commented on the recent regional developments on his Facebook page.
“There has been no anti-Armenian character like Nikol even in the Ottoman Empire. After removing the factor of the Armenian Armed Forces, handing over the whole southern part of Artsakh to the enemy, he has now turned Syunik into a bone of contention for the interests of Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, China, India, Azerbaijan and Russia. Today, Iranian officials are more radical about the inviolability of Armenia’s Syunik province than the capitulant regime, led by Nikol Pashinyan. The latters are not there, do not represent any factor. It is now clear why Turks have occupied the sovereign part of Sev Lich (Black Lake) without any resistance and do not remove forces,” Zakaryan added.
If Pashinyan’s opposition has specific suggestions about southern Armenia and the proposed pan-Turkic route across it, we’d like to hear what they are.
I don’t think they have any solid suggestions.
This does not mean Pashinyan is right.
It means that the opposition has no ideas.
