The Armenian Youth France organizes a day of commemoration to mark the 70th anniversary of the execution of Manouchian group, Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014.
For this sad anniversary, JAF organizes Saturday, February 22 exceptional day on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the execution of Manouchian group. One and two highlights to honor the memory of Manouchian and his 21 companions who died for France, executed by the Nazis, February 21, 1944 at Mont Valerian. The only woman in the group, Olga Bancic will be beheaded May 10, 1944.
The first appointment is given to Square Missak Manouchian (Boulevard Charles Livon 7th) at 11 am for the official ceremony with the participation of 50 children of the choir e! Hildren JAF Scouts and apostolic. A tribute to all these resistant Jews, Hungarians, Poles, Romanians, Spaniards, Italians and Armenians, as well as their ringleader Missak Manouchian, inspirer of JAF movement.
These immigrants were determined to fight the Nazis to liberate France, the country of Human Rights.
