YEREVAN. – Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian on Tuesday visited the French Senate, where he met with Jean-Louis Carrere, the President of the Senate’s Foreign and Affairs and Defence Committee.
They discussed the avenues for further consolidating Armenian-French relations and underscored the role by the Armenian and the French parliaments in this process, Armenian MFA press service informs. The interlocutors also reflected on several regional and international matters, and Nalbandian presented Armenia’s outlook on solving regional problems in the South Caucasus.
On the same day, Armenia’s FM met with members of the French-Armenian interparliamentary friendship groups of the French Senate and National Assembly. Nalbandian highly appreciated the French parliamentarians’’ contribution to the development of Armenian-French relations. In their turn, the French Senate and National Assembly members assured that they will continue their efforts to further expand cooperation between Armenia and France.
In the latter half of the day, Nalbandian delivered a presentation, devoted to Armenia’s foreign policy priorities, at the French Institute of International Relations (IFRI).
On Tuesday evening, Edward Nalbandian met with France’s leading media representatives and prominent political scientists and analysts. They discussed international relations.
