Armenia’s Vanadzor city will host the first Engineering Forum-Expo that will take place at Vanadzor Technology Center (VTC) on June 24. The event aims at discussing the global development of the sphere, the challenges of the engineering education, the business environment as well as encourage the exchange of experience, expertise, and ideas among organizations and the main stakeholders of the sector.
Designed to support regional development and to promote Engineering and high-tech SMEs in Armenia, the Engineering Forum-Expo will host more than 150 participants representing the government, universities and research institutions, donor organizations, start–up community, engineering companies and industry professionals from Armenia and abroad. More than 20 local and international companies will exhibit their “Made in Armenia” high-tech products, solutions and services.
Director at the Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF) Bagrat Yengibaryan told a press conference on Thursday, saying the selection of the venue of the event was no coincidence “Vanadzor Technology Center (VTC) has a unique engineering focus. I think this event will open a new page in Armenia’s high-tech sphere,” said Yengibaryan, expressing hope the forum will become traditional.
In his words, the event will feature discussion on topics such as Industrial engineering – recent development s and success stories, education and research, advanced industrial Apps (Control devices, 5D, Semiconductor Test Solutions, RF and microwave, the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT)).

The Head of National Instruments company Aram Salatyan, in turn, noted, Armenia is turning to state that surprises with its engineering advancement, as the local specialists are often able to find solutions to the most complex issues that represent a real challenge worldwide,
The Forum-Expo is organized by Enterprise Incubator Foundation, RA Government and Lori regional administration.
