Armenian serviceman Hakob Injighulyan, born in 1991,who crossed into the territory controlled by Azerbaijani armed forces, was brought to Baku and handed over to the Ministry of Defense, Trend News reported citing Shahin Sailov, the Secretary of the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons.
According to him, a meeting with the representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) will be organized next week and they will learn whether he wants to return to Armenia, or to depart to a third country.
It was clarified that the Armenian got lost and crossed into the territory controlled by Azerbaijani armed forces, Sailov said, confirming the earlier reports.
