Azerbaijani opposition media, including Yeni Musavat have increasingly been hinting at a possibility of a coup in the country.
According to the article Azeri Coup Alert, the country has boosted protection of governmental buildings, with hunting rifles collected from the public. U.S. sent a 
message warning about a possible coup, while Israel urged its citizens against visiting Azerbaijan, the article said. According to Yeni Musavat, “a number of states, led by Russia, Iran and Armenia, are interested in stirring unrest in Azerbaijan.” Oh well, we suppose, no Azeri media can live a day without a mention of Armenia.
The daily listed Syria’s Assad regime among Azeri enemies, further blaming Russia’s special services for fire at Bulla Deniz oilfield.
The daily’s subpar article clearly targets U.S. the EU states, trying to emerge as a country that is being forced into submission by Russia.
Also, despite Azeri leadership’s vows to stay away from Syria conflict, Baku is far from keeping it. Should Turkey force Baku into participating in a Syria strike, President Ilham Aliyev will find himself in trouble. On one hand, Baku would engage in a war to win EU’s favor in Karabakh conflict. One the other, it risks inviting Putin’s anger, with the latter increasing naval forces in the Caspian Sea and capable of striking Azeri oil and gas complex.
However, it’s more probable that Aliyev will have enough sense to refrain from harsh steps on Syria.
The thing is, Azeri elections will, as always be forged, this being a common misfortune for the whole post-Soviet space. Baku, however, spares no effort to prove its exceptionality and irreplaceability in Caucasus, which, in turn gives rise to questionable articles celebrating conspirology that Azerbaijan is so fond of.
