Armenia‘s exports of non-mineral primary products exceeded those of Azerbaijan in January-August 2016.
The total export from Azerbaijan amounted to some $5.8 billion in the reporting period. Leaving oil products and gas (87%) out of these figures, however, reveals that the export volume including the gold and black metals shipped abroad totals some $756.2 million.
According to the National Statistical Service, Armenia exported $1.129 billion-worth goods, including non-mineral primary products of $829.4 million, which means the country outstripped Azerbaijan in terms of non-primary products export by some $73 million.
