President of the National Assembly Galust Sahakyan on Friday honored Vardges Mahtesian, an Armenian religious group member at the Cyprus House of Representatives, with the memory medal of Armenia’s top legislative offical.According to the parliament’s press service, the award was conferred upon him for an essential contribution to bilateral inter-parliamentary ties, as well as the local Armenian community’s development.
At the end of the meeting, Sahakyan wished the Cypriot-Armenian lawmaker more success in his pro-Armenian initiatives.
