The Armenian cemetery, which is located nearby the military base in Sivas, Turkey, has been cleaned of garbage.
Within the framework of the “Work Done in Favor of Society” program, the Sivas City Hall arranged for the cleaning and care of the Armenian cemetery that had turned into a garbage dump, reported Agos Armenian bilingual weekly of Istanbul.
A city hall official stated that they carried out their duties to their 800-year-old neighbors.
“The care of our state and authorities towards our deceased Armenian neighbors will always be,” he added.
