The 145th anniversary of the birth of Komitas was celebrated on July 2 in the famous room “Kinga-Yamaha” Tokyo (Japan) concert pianist Takahiro Akiba. Concert organized by the Embassy of Armenia in Japan. Many 
Japanese music lovers, as well as members of the Armenian community in Japan attended the concert. Takahiro Akiba studied at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow. In 2013 at the Komitas festival which took place in Germany, she won the first prize.
