There is an Armenian among those wounded as a result of a blast which took place in Istanbul’s Beyoğlu district this morning, Istanbul-based Armenian Zhamanak daily editor-in-chief Ara Gochunian told Armenian News – NEWS.am.

Oksan Khachanyan has been taken to Istanbul’s Etfal State Hospital hospital; his life isn’t endangered.

The explosion by a suicide bomber in Istanbul’s Beyoğlu district left five people dead.  Another 36 people were wounded, 2 of them being children. According to some sources, the suicide-bomber was an ISIS member.
