Republican candidate hails the first victory of opposition forces

November 24, 2018 By administrator

The vice-president of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), Vigen Sargsyan, who leads the RPA proportional list in the upcoming elections, wrote on his Facebook page that the money transferred from overseas will not be taxed.

“The first victory of opposition forces. As a result of an alarming announcement made by a Republican, the SRC announced that the money transferred from overseas will not be taxed. The government changed its plan.

This is the power of counterbalance. That is why we need opposition forces in the future parliament. But the verbal promise is not enough. We must ensure that after the elections no new attempt to adopt such a non-prospective policy is made. Those who leave to work in the overseas have a family to care for in Armenia, the state must support, not hinder them.

There are 150,000 issues on job placement optimisation, prevention of the elimination of benefits, prevention of the economic downturn and further price increase, maintaining border security, and many other issues on the agenda.”
