Armenian apricot exports hit record high, export geography expanding

Armenia-exportOver 43 thousand tons of fresh fruit and vegetables were exported from Armenia this year compared with 26,847 tons in the same period of 2014.

17,186 tons of apricots were exported as of July 14 against 1,791 – the total amount of apricot exports in 2014, Armenian Agriculture Ministry said.

Cherry exports amounted to 1,589 tons as of today, July 14, compared with exports of 370 tons in 2014.

Armenian fruit and vegetables are exported to Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Poland, Georgia, UAE, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Norway, and Kuwait.
