ALEPPO. – Two Armenian-populated districts of Aleppo came under mortar attack on Friday afternoon.
One of the shells fell on a building of a trade center in front of Zvartnots, an Armenian church.
An Armenian teenager was wounded in an attack. Ando Tutunjyan was hospitalized, but soon was discharged from hospital, the press service of the Diocese of Aleppo of the Armenian Apostolic Church reported.
The second shell exploded in Suleymanie avenue near petrol station. No casualties have been reported.
Armenian-populated districts have been shelled several times over the recent days.
