As the curfew in 4 neighborhoods of Mardin’s Nusaybin district continues in its eight day, the remaining 11 neighborhoods in the town have also been placed under curfew as of 10:00 this morning.

The popular resistance going on in Fırat, Dicle, Yenişehir and Abdulkadirpaşa neighborhoods since the first day has also spread to Kışla and Zeynelabidin neighborhoods in the wake of the curfew imposed today.
People in two neighborhoods have built up barricades on streets and are not allowing state forces to enter their areas, to which police respond with gunfire from armored vehicles and tear gas at random.
As resistance grows in Kışla and Zeynelabidin neighborhoods, as well as across the town, a number of armored vehicles have been deployed on all streets.
