The Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan and Minister of Defence of the Greek Cypriot administration, Christoforos Fokaides, signed the agreement on military cooperation in Yerevan on Wednesday.
Seyran Ohanian, addressing reporters later, said the project was based on the basis of “friendship and mutual support in the field of defense” for 2015.
The Armenian Minister said he had accepted Fokaides proposal to organize joint military exercises.
Armenia and southern Cyprus have already signed more than 20 agreements in health, economy, education, in the field of industrial and military matters.
The two countries signed a military cooperation plan and technical in 2012.
