August 12, 2014 By administrator

Y-Has there been a fact of non-hostile Armenians Turkey? Turkey is the country that openly supports Azerbaijan. And it all matters. And it is true that I would have been surprised Erdogan also offers its condolences to the Armenians. “President Sargsyan also said” there is nothing surprising. Azerbaijani general who tortured Armenian hostage, is called murderer even in his homeland

August 12, 2014 By administrator

It turned out that the hands of the General of the Azerbaijani army Rovshan Akbarov who during the interrogation had tortured Karen Petrosyan, the hostage from the tortured-armenianArmenian village Chinari, are in blood of not only the Armenians but also the Azerbaijanis, the news agency “Pastinfo” informs. It writes that the Azerbaijani bloggers and Internet users write about it openly.
Akperov is one of the youngest generals of the Azerbaijani army. By the end of the Artsakh war, he had a grea prestige among the military leadership of Azerbaijan. Akperov has provided services to President Heydar and Ilham Aliyevs more than once, eliminating those Azerbaijani veterans of Karabakh war who were hampering the implementation of their plans.

Probably as gratitude for these services in 1998 Akperov was appointed commander of the Fourth Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan. And now, according to Azerbaijani sources, he claims for the ministerial post. In this context, apparently, another heroic act was the “accidental” death of the innocent Armenian young man.

Thus, according to the Azerbaijani media, Shamkhor Corps headed by him is the most corrupt one. Here are recorded large numbers of unsolved mysterious deaths of soldiers.

As for the moral character of Akperov, then he has always been distinguished by the fact that he had periodically arranged fights while being drunk. In 1996, he has even been taken to the police station for being intoxicated.

Akperov has once become a cause of a road accident, when he once again had a conflict with the police. All of these cases at the time caused extensive discussions among the Azerbaijani users, one of them even came to the conclusion that “Akperov is not the person he means to be. No one should trust him.”

However, the most important chapter of his biography is that 10 years ago he in Kiev he had killed one of his compatriots. This case entered even the European Court. Of the document of the European Court it became clear that in 2001 Akperov who was passing training at a military school in Ukraine, had a dispute with the Azerbaijani entrepreneur Elchin Aliyev and killed him by a knife. The Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine prepared the documents and sent to the Azerbaijani prosecutor’s office, but the case was hushed up, and Akperov remained unpunished.

U.S. Armenians, Assyrians rally against Islamist violence in Mideast

August 12, 2014 By administrator

Armenian National Committee of America Eastern Region (ANCA-ER) activists joined with leaders of the Assyrian, Chaldean and Syriac communities to rally international 181506support for ending targeted attacks against their brethren in Iraq and Syria during a peaceful protest held in front of the United Nations headquarters in New York City.

The ANCA Eastern Region’s Armen Sahakyan offered powerful remarks citing Armenian American solidarity with the Assyrian community, noting that the violence harkens back to Turkey’s genocide and exile of over 3 million Armenian, Pontian Greek and Assyrian Christians from 1915-1923. Sahakyan went on to urge greater international effort to end the violence against these beleaguered communities.

Protesters wore special t-shirts with the Arabic letter “N” for “Nasrani,” which means Christian in Arabic to show their solidarity with those persecuted in Iraq, Syria and other parts of the Middle East.

This is the greatest mass flight of Christians in the Middle East since the Armenian, Assyrian and Pontian Greeks genocide at the hands of the Ottoman Empire.

Over the past several months, the Armenian community of Aleppo, Syria has been subjected to constant bombardment by Muslim extremists, which has led to the destruction of local schools, churches and social service centers. Earlier, on March 21, 2014, the city of Kessab located in northwestern part of Syria bordering Turkey was overrun by extremist foreign fighters, forcing the town to flee for safe haven at moment’s notice.

Mosul, the capital of Iraq’s Nineveh province and the second largest city after Baghdad, has recently come under control of al Qaeda breakaway ISIS, which now brands itself as Islamic State. The city was once home to around 60,000 Assyrians, Chaldeans, Armenians and other Christians. ISIS is also targeting Muslim holy sites, including the mosque housing the tomb of the Biblical figure of Jonah.

Ancient Armenian New Year, Navasard, marked on August 11

August 11, 2014 By administrator

In pagan Armenia the New Year was celebrated on August 11. The feast was called Navasard.

Ancient-armenianAncient sources bear out that Navasard – New Year was adorned with solemn and splendid festivities, which lasted several days. There were carnivals, cavalcades, various games with participation of the king, noblemen and plain folk. Various open-air celebrations were often held at night around the fire at holy shrines.

Many legends have been told about this most beloved feast; it is said that on this very day our forefather Hayk had a stunning victory over his enemy Bel and gave start to the history of Armenians. It was also believed that this day Noah’s Arc landed on the peak of Mount Ararat, and so the yearly celebrations of Navasard-New Year were to reconfirm the beginning of the new era of humanity.

After the adoption of Christianity in Armenia this feast, along with many others, was officially reformed. The pagan temples were destroyed, the known celebrations and pilgrimages were forbidden. Navasard found its place neither in the church nor in civic calendar, but the people didn’t forget their tradition and they kept celebrating it for many centuries.

Same-movie same-pictures Turkish massacre of Armenian and ISIS Yazidis massacre both using Islam as tools.

August 10, 2014 By administrator

Only Armenians understand the pain of the Yazidi, the only difference the Armenian massacre was at massive scale and it was by the Turkish government.

Yezidi-246It’s an impossible question to answer. Then again, it’s difficult to fathom most anything thousands of minority  Yazidis have endured in recent weeks as they’ve fled from ISIS militants into remote, rugged, sparse mountains of northern Iraq.

Now some of them are under siege or under fire, targeted by ISIS for not succumbing to demands to convert to Islam or else. Others, like Tariq, have managed to find some refuge in recent days, though worries remain about finding the resources they need to survive.

Mohammed Shia al-Sudani said the Sunni militants had also buried alive some of their victims, including women and children. Some 300 women were kidnapped as slaves, he added.

“Some of the victims, including women and children were buried alive in scattered mass graves in and around Sinjar,” Sudani said.

The minister’s comments could pile pressure on the United States – which has carried out air strikes on Islamic State targets in response to the group’s latest push through the north – to provide more extensive support.

“In some of the images we have obtained there are lines of dead Yazidis who have been shot in the head while the Islamic State fighters cheer and wave their weapons over the corpses,” said Sudani. “This is a vicious atrocity.”

at least now there is USA to come to call for help but in Armenian case when they ask the british for help the answer was our ships can not climb Mount Ararat.

Turkish dictator Erdoğan insult Armenians, complains of being called ‘even uglier things, Armenian’

August 6, 2014 By administrator

ISTANBUL
Edogan-insultPrime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has sparked a fresh debate while trying to defend himself for labeling his opponents according to their minority religious or ethnic identity.

“They have also said a lot of things about me. One of them came and said I was a Georgian. Then another came up and, I beg your pardon, called me uglier things, saying I was Armenian,” Erdoğan said during a live interview on Aug. 5, adding that he was a purebred Turk. reported by Hurriyet daily news

“What I have learned from my grandfather, my father and all of them is that I am Turkish. That’s it,” he said in remarks that have caused great controversy.

The Turkish prime minister has repeated several times during his campaign that main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu is an Alevi, Peoples’ Democratic Party’s (HDP) candidate Selahattin Demirtaş is a Zaza-origin Kurd, and the CHP and other parties’ candidate Ekmeleddin İhsanoğlu is “not even a native” for being born in Egypt, albeit to Turkish parents.

During his speeches, Erdoğan has consistently reminded the nation’s populace that he is a “Sunni.”
His comments triggered accusations of sectarianism, causing a backlash on social media and prompting the left-leaning daily BirGün to bitingly respond with the front-page headline: “Kılıçdaroğlu is Alevi, Demirtaş is Zaza, İhsanoğlu is Egyptian and you are a thief.”

But Erdoğan argued during his interview that no one should hesitate to unveil his identity.
