YEREVAN. – The 2799th anniversary of the foundation of Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia, is marked on Saturday.

And according to the tradition, the start of the respective celebrations was given early in the morning, and by the festive parade of water trucks.

This year’s Yerevan Day festivities are held under the slogan, “Yerevan, City of Love.”
