Opinion: Wally Sarkeesian Observation:
Yerevan city council elections ‘were both happy moments but also people were voting still in revolutionary mindset.
from my experience by talking to people from taxi drivers to people on the street and outside the polling stations, the people had one candidate in mind even though there were 12 candidates running. Pashinyan wind swap My Step” bloc to the power.
Only the polling station that has some popular candidates or party leader running you would see media with massive cameras other districts with absolutely no media present.
We visited Davtashen District however the communist minded bureaucrat would not allow us in, they kept telling us to go here and there to get permission but after crisscrossing Davtashen from one department to another with no luck, however, we manage to take some picture and talk to some voters.
The voting process looked like efficient the turnout was almost double at least the polling station that we were present according to the poll monitoring staff.
