On April 13, several hundred Armenians showed for support to Karabakh in Montevideo, capital of Uruguay. Many Uruguayans were also came to support the Nagorno Karabakh and condemn Azerbaijani aggression. Uruguayan Senator Ruben Huelmo, MP Daniel Radino, the representative of the League of Human Rights Belela Herera, the Minister of Tourism and Liliane Kéchichian Youth and MPs of Armenian origin in the Parliament of Uruguay Antonio Zoulamian and José Satjian also participated in the demonstration in support of Karabakh. Protesters wearing dozens of flags of Armenia and Karabakh Haut distributed flyers to passersby, to explain the conflict in Nagorno Karabakh. Uruguayan media have widely reported the event.
