Turkey is planning to deploy modern control systems along its border with Armenia and Iran.
According to Turkey’s newspaper Aksam, mine clearance is underway at Turkey’s eastern border, coordinated by the General Staff of Turkish Armed Forces and the country’s Interior Ministry.
The 52,450,000 euro worth project will be implemented with a funding from the European Union and Turkey’s Defense Ministry.
