Serj Tankian posted a video honoring the life of a Turkish Armenian writer and editor Hrant Dink

“A good friend of ours Jon Del Sesto just made a video honoring the life of Hrant Dink for my Dad, Khatchadour Tankian’s album, Inchbes Moranank,” Taknian wrote on Facebook.

In his message musician noted that recent ties to Dink’s killer “weaves a very sordid web of collusion among certain nationalists and law enforcement personnel.”

He recalled that to this day Turkey has a horrible human rights record and one of the highest rates of incarceration of journalists in the world.
