Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree appointing Sergey Kopirkin as the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia, Ria Novosti news agency reported.

Mr. Kopirkin will replace Ivan Volinkin, whose term of diplomatic service expired.
