YEREVAN. –The repatriated Armenian citizen Arsen Khojoyan told reporters about conditions in Azerbaijani captivity.
Armenian citizen was repatriated on Thursday under the auspices of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
Despite unhealthy appearance, Khojoyan did not complain much about conditions. He was kept in a ward in Baku.
Asked about the cases of beating or torture, captive gave a negative answer. He was questioned whether he was a serviceman and how he appeared on the opposite side of the border.
Arsen Khojoyan said he refused to eat during the first days, as he was afraid of being poisoned. The young man thanked everyone responsible for his repatriation.
On March 7, Arsen Khojoyan had crossed the Line of Contact between the Armenia and thet Azerbaijan armed forces.
Armenian military serviceman Hakob Injighulyan is still held captive in Azerbaijan.
