Wally Sarkeesian: We congratulate Nikol Pashinyan for the well-merited title of the Prime Minister.

May 9, 2018 By administrator

Dear Nikol Pashinyan, it was very clear to me from the outset that this was not a protest but a revolution and it was unstoppable. I have stated time and again throughout social media. Last 20 Years you fought long and painful struggle. Against the corrupt system, spend time in Jail far from your wife and children. Finally, a moment of triumph as a Prime Minister, Dear Pashinyan, the Armenian Nation is very proud and grateful of your accomplishment; Your Achievement resembles the heroes of Karabakh liberation that gives Armenian the sweet victory that too was a miracle realization. You have set a new standard for democracy, and you pushed the boundaries of the envelope to state of the art; Soon the world will replicate your experience,

You are leading a very different generation from their parents. They are much less Soviet in their mentality, and they do not see Moscow as a metropolis as their mothers and fathers once did. In one way, they are more globalized and more digitally savvy. said de waal.

“Together with many Armenians within and outside Armenia, we stand ready to support and propel Armenia’s just and peaceful development. With this turning point, we have an opportunity to bring together the skills and enthusiasm of Armenians across the globe who are able to contribute to accelerating Armenia’s and Artsakh’s growth and prosperity.

Good Luck

According to a Facebook post by Pashinyan himself, he and Arsen Hambardzumyan and Armen Rustamyan discussed the “internal political situation in Armenia and the possible ways out.”

The ARF pulled out of the ruling coalition with the Republicans on Wednesday, while acting ministers and governors of province representing the party resigned the following day.

Pashinyan had earlier met Gagik Tsarukyan, the head of opposition Tsarukyan bloc which has been supporting the movement for several days now.

An opposition leader from Yelk bloc and the founder and head of Civil Contract party, Pashinyan leads the campaign against the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA).

Former prime minister Serzh Sargsyan was forced to resign on Monday, and Pashinyan is now seeking the appointment as prime minister by the National Assembly of what he calls “the people’s candidate,” the formation of a temporary government and snap parliamentary elections.

Pashinyan and acting prime minister from the ruling party Karen Karapetyan were scheduled to meet on Wednesday, April 25 but the meeting was canceled. Pashinyan urged demonstrators to resume the rally, with the protesters paralyzing traffic on several major avenues and streets in Yerevan and gathering at the Republic Square again.

On Thursday, the protests will move to Gyumri, Armenia’s second biggest town in the country’s north.

Later on Wednesday, the ruling Republican Party of Armenia declared it is ready to discuss any issue with all the parties.
