President of Israel Shimon Peres will receive French-Armenian singer Charles Aznavour during his trip to Israel in November.
The 89-year-old singer was officially invited for lunch at the President’s Residence, and accepted the invitation, ynetnews.com website reported.
The singer will give one-off performance in Tel Aviv on November 23.
Aznavour, who is also Armenia’s Ambassador to Switzerland, will dedicate his trip to promoting the peace process and increasing public support for it, the source said.
