The Iranian and Turkish presidents, Hassan Rouhani and Recep Erdogan, made a joint statement following the meeting of the Supreme Council for Strategic Cooperation.
The leaders noted that they will take the measures necessary to increase trade volume between the two countries in order to achieve the goal of $ 30 billion.
Rouhani and Erdogan also expressed deep concern over the US withdrawal from the Iranian nuclear deal, and the reintroduction of unilateral, unfair sanctions on Iran.
