World-known French singer and songwriter ZAZ will perform during the gala concert in the scope of the Francophonie Summit in Yerevan on October 11-12. To note, delegations from some 84 countries are expected to arrive in Yerevan for the Summit.

“We know that ZAZ is quite popular among Armenians,” French Ambassador to Armenia Jonathan Lacôte told reporters at a press conference on Friday. Asked whether Charles Aznavour is also set to visit Armenia, the Ambassador said let it remain “a surprise.”
“I think Armenian leadership is in communication with Aznavour, and I would just recommend recall his songs until the Summit,” added the French Ambassador.

It is not excluded that if Aznavour arrives we will see a duet of ZAZ and the French Armenian legend once again, or as it is often referred ZAznavour, sharing the stage this time in the Republic Square in Yerevan.
