Turkey destroyed Syria to Create Construction work for his own companies

January 23, 2017 By administrator

Authentic Turkish Crime in Middle-East

Turkey will start reconstructing infrastructures in the area between Jarablus and al-Rai in northern Syria, which has been cleared of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) as part of Turkey’s ongoing Euphrates Shield operation.

An area covering 2,000 square kilometers along Turkey’s southern border with Syria was cleared of ISIL in the first months of the Euphrates Shield operation.

Some locals, who fled their homes due to ISIL threat, have already returned to the region. Turkey aims to create a safe area for more locals to return to their hometowns after the region is rebuilt.

Turkey will send civilian officials, including teachers, doctors, nurses, highway workers and rescue teams from its Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), to the region in order to revive life there, Turkish sources said.

These include the construction of infrastructure systems, opening bakeries, providing fresh water and education, and repairing damaged buildings like schools and hospitals.

Erdogan destroyed 2,700 homes in Kurdish towns to create Construction project for Erdogan construction companies

April 9, 2016 By administrator

Terrorist erdoganJustice and Development Party (AKP) government has initiated plans to demolish and rebuild a total of 2,700 houses in the Cizre district of southeastern Şırnak province after 78 days of anti-terror operations against the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) severely damaged residential areas.

The project, estimated to cost some 4 billion Turkish liras ($1.3 billion), sparked criticism among a group of residents who demand increased transparency.

The district governorate in Cizre sent a notification to locals, asking that they vacate their houses immediately, in order to initiate efforts to demolish and rebuild the district’s damaged houses as part of an urban transformation project.

“Technical personnel from the Ministry of Environment and Urban Planning determined buildings with severe damage and are under risk of collapse,” the statement said. “Heavily damaged buildings that have a risk of collapse will be demolished in line with relevant laws as they pose a threat to life,” it added, asking residents to vacate their houses immediately.

TURKEY The actual cost of the destruction of a civilization by Cengiz Aktar

December 13, 2015 By administrator

arton119772-480x320The past weekend, the Bagazici University hosted a conference organized by the Hrant Dink Foundation, in cooperation with Sabanci and Bilgi University in Istanbul and titled “A destroyed civilization: the wealth of Non-Muslims at the end of the Ottoman period and the beginning of the Republican era. “

The theme of the conference was the Armenians, Greeks, Jews and Arameans (Syriacs) at the time of the Ottoman Empire and that of the Republic.

The period studied was 1894-1896 massacres of Armenians that occurred during the reign of Sultan Abdülhamid II until today. Finally, for over a century, we observe a broken order, and also the violence and injustice that result. The pogroms against Greeks Aegean, deportation and genocide of Armenians and Syriacs in 1915-1916, trade in Orthodox and Muslim populations of 1923 and then the deportation of Greeks in 1964 is the emergence points over a century of violence and suffering endured by non-Muslims.

In a summary list of reasons for the breakdown of order are: Muslims who took refuge in Anatolia in the 19th century, the Caucasus and the Balkans, hoping naturally get their share of the cake, the forced settlement of nomads who began developing since the mid 19th century, the religious cleansing that was undertaken in the name of building a nation-state based on religion, and gender non-Muslims-Muslims resulted from the Tanzimat reforms of the 19th century.

The human dimensions of the destroyed civilization is overwhelming. We speak of some 1.5 million Armenians and 1.5 million Greeks left on an overall population of 13 million in 1923.

The conference largely focused on economic, political, social and cultural rights of the destroyed civilization. As for the economic dimension, the disappearance of non-Muslims sectors of agriculture and industry, loss and dispossession of their financial and physical capital and the destruction of human capital has led to huge losses and the collapse of Anatolia. Not only many production activities – such as textiles, silk and vineyards – were fatally disorganized, but the enormous wealth of ancient agricultural knowledge has also evaporated. Severe damage was reported to the seasonal migration of craftsmen between Anatolia and Istanbul, a tradition dating back to the times of Byzantium. Likewise were destroyed economic relations with Europe that had been established and strengthened for years between industrial and non-Muslim merchants from Anatolia and Istanbul.

22-11-2015-1398776-480x320-480x320The plundering, looting and seizures forces have mainly benefited the state and some local notables. Nevertheless, the loss of human capital became placed as always major problems for the continuation of business. It is not possible to decree the creation of a middle class or create by pressing a magic button; the whole economy collapsed altogether. From this point of view, the forced expulsion of non-Muslims in these lands denotes an absolutely irrational thinking.

Meanwhile, the illegal confiscation and seizure of assets of non-Muslims that we have observed since 1850, had its justification in compensation which had no result so far. With regard to cultural annihilation, the most tangible examples are given by the systematic and deliberate destruction of thousands of buildings, monasteries, churches, schools, homes, gardens and farms belonging to non-Muslims after their annihilation or their forced departure.

Taken together, the 27 papers presented in the conference were very informative for the participants. And the presence of so many young researchers at the conference is a reason to hope. At the same time, however, the conference has reminded us all how we know little about our painful past.

Finally, I will quote the writer Yasar Kemal disappeared in his book ‘Yagmurcuk usu’:

“Son, if you return to this village, you do not adopt the houses abandoned by the Armenians, an abandoned nest can bring life and prosperity to the bird that settles it, the cruelty of the scene only grows cruelty”.

Members of Congress Express Outrage Over Der Zor Destruction

WASHINGTON—Members of Congress have begun a string of condemnation and expressions of outrage over the destruction of the Armenian Genocide memorial church in Der Zor over the weekend by Islamic State forces.

Representatives Frank Pallone (D-NJ), Jim Costa (D-Calif.), Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) and Sandy Levin (D-Mich.) issued statements or took to social media to express their outrage over the barbaric act committed by rebels affiliated with the Islamic State, also known as Islamic State for Iraq and Syria—ISIS.

“This toxic act of intolerance, aimed at erasing a sacred site of remembrance of the Armenian Genocide on the eve of its centennial, has Turkey’s finger prints all over it,” said Armenian National Committee of America Executive Director Aram Hamparian. “Armenian Americans join with people of faith worldwide in voicing our outrage over the desecration and destruction of the Armenian Holy Martyr’s Church and the sacred Armenian Genocide Memorial at Deir Zor, Syria.”

“I am deeply saddened and outraged by the destruction of the Armenian Genocide Memorial Church in Deir ez-Zor. This church stood to commemorate and honor the hundreds of thousands of Armenians who died on the march to Deir ez-Zor. At the order of the Ottoman Turks, Armenian refugees were sent to die in Deir ez-Zor as part of the 20th century’s first genocide. The destruction of the church memorializing this terrible point in history must be met with a strong international response,” said Pallone in a statement issued Tuesday.

“The United States government and other international partners in the region must work to protect religious minorities and to ensure that Armenian Christians are not targeted for such appalling acts. As the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide approaches, we must remember that it is our duty to stand against the targeting of Armenians all around the world and to prevent any further targeted violence,” added Pallone.

“I strongly condemn the reported desecration of an Armenian Genocide memorial in Syria by the Islamic State,” said Costa in a Twitter post.

“The reported destruction by ISIL of the Armenian Genocide Memorial Church in Der Zor, Syria is yet another example of the sickening barbarity that has terrorized millions across Iraq and Syria. The fact that the church was dedicated to those lost in the genocide is both especially poignant, and a chilling foreshadowing of how ISIL would treat Syria’s Christians if it were to further expand their territorial gains. We need to support the international coalition that is currently engaging in strikes to help the people of Syria and Iraq rid themselves of this cancer,” said Schiff in a statement issued Tuesday.

“I strongly condemn the reported desecration of an Armenian Genocide memorial in Syria by ISIL,” Rep. Sandy Levin (D-Mich.) tweeted on Tuesday.

Fighters from the Islamic State desecrated an Armenian Genocide memorial complex in the eastern Syrian city of Deir ez-Zor, near the site where vast numbers of Armenian refugees were forced to march to their deaths in the early 20th century.

The Der Zor Memorial Church contains the remains of victims of the Armenian Genocide and is often compared to the Auschwitz death camp in Poland.

Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian condemned the destruction of the church and called on the international community to combat the Islamic State.

The Armenian Genocide Memorial Church served as a pilgrimage site for Armenians in Syria, and every year, on April 24, special commemoration ceremonies attended by thousands of people would be held at the site.

The complex housed, in addition to the church, a museum, monument and archive.
