Armenia has been included in the ranking list of top 10 most romantic travel destinations for spring recommended to couples.
Armenia took the 5th spot in the list released by Russia’s largest travel search engine Aviasales, leaving behind Spain, Georgia, Germany, the Czech Republic and France, Interfax Tourism reported.
Russia tops the list of ‘couple routes’, followed by Thailand, Italy and Turkey.
A new flag carrier, Armenia, was granted a certificate for regular flights, with the decision adopted at the Economy Ministry meeting on the regular commercial air traffic.
According to a statement by the Ministry, the company intends to fly in 17 directions. Furthermore, the ministry is set to monitor implementation of obligations assumed by the company, Novosti-Armenia reports.
Israeli capital Tel-Aviv will be the airline’s first destination on April 21.
The airline will further fly to Russia – Moscow and other cities – as well as to Tehran, Prague, Kiev, Minsk, Barcelona, Larnaca and London.
